Residents of Riyadh City are advised to remain vigilant following a warning from authorities about a potential threat. The alert, issued through the National Early Warning Platform, comes after the city was under attack for a couple of hours ¹.

According to reports, loud explosions were heard in the Saudi capital, and some residents received phone alerts warning of a "hostile aerial threat". The Saudi defence ministry stated that air defences were dealing with a ballistic threat in Riyadh ².
